Themes to Aggregate RSS Feed content for WordPress and Alltop clone tips
There are thousand of WordPress themes out there for any purpose of use from Magazine styled, Blogging, Shopping, Photo layout etc…the best premium I have use from popular theme provider as: Eleganthemes, Themeforest, and Themeshift.
Few days ago I purchased a new domain to make a site like Alltop.com. This site will display RSS content from multiple sources. I searched around the Internet and find the solution. I decided choose WordPress to build the site and found 3 best three themes help me make alltop clone site, or popurls clone site.
1. The first theme is Aggregator theme, this is free WordPress theme from Templatic, this theme accepts RSS urls from the sidebar and displays it on the homepage. It does not have any function of posting articles.

2. The second Aggregator WordPress theme is Accumlo. The homepage contains tabbed, custom RSS widgets for aggregating niche content. It’s like a premium version of the AllTop-inspired WPTopics.
On the front end, Accumulo provides a clean and easily-customized layout enhanced with smooth, elegant jQuery animations in the tabs, dropdown menus.

3. The best RSS Aggregator theme is Onenews theme (Recommend), the latest version version 3.0 with many features, multiple categories, create unlimited pages with your targeted keywords.

Back to my domain, I don’t like the free theme above and decided use the theme I had from StudioPress, with Lifestyle theme you may place many widgets to the homepage (but only homepage) . I use the “Better rss widget” to display news from favorite sites. With small help from my friend modified the plugin to cut down the Title of news and keep it at one line only. You may download Better rss widget modified version here. But can’t not display video or photos like Popurls.
